It's no secret: Nowadays, most mainstream rappers aren't rappers. The majority just throw a few bars together around Christmastime before getting back to their real hustle, whether it be acting, designing clothes, or thinking about how to make Rick Ross the next Biggie Smalls while sitting behind a desk in a sharp suit. It's fitting, then, for Rapper DeVon Hendryx to randomly start rhyming over pop music smash ("None of Dem") originally made by a Swedish pop star (Robyn) trying to pander to a nationwide audience. True, "Anne Hathaway" might come off a bit like a too-perfect couple who drink all night and Farmer's Market all morning, but when they invite you along, saying no kinda makes you an asshole.
The biggest Devon Hendryx grail ever. Released to Bandcamp on January 28, 2011 and to YouTube and MySpace around the same time. The 1st track is a freestyle over the song "None of Dem" by Robyn. Removed from Bandcamp sometime between March 1st and October 18th, 2011. The 1st track was up on his YouTube channel as late as September 19th, 2013. Enso Sinatra has said he has heard it but does not have it. Songs are fully lost.
